I answered an ad in the local newspaper for job placement in the legal field. All I had to do was fax over my resume. The day I did this was the day that changed my life. I had been out of work for two months before I saw this ad.

In 2004, I placed several ads in the local newspapers for a real estate secretary/paralegal. After many phone calls/interviews/calls on references/hiring someone and then terminating them, I finally gave up!
